The Bone Scraper Legacy book launch in Tahiti. A brief update.
I am pleased to tell you, my friends, that the book launch in Tahiti in June last year has had a significant impact not only in New Zealand, which was expected, but also in France, which was a surprise.
Book sales and reviews have increased significantly since the book launch, and because French Polynesia’s close connection to France, the popularity of The Bone Scraper Legacy, and by implication, the Jack Rogan Mysteries series, in Europe has in many ways surpassed expectations. The series now has a truly global reach which I hope will be further enhanced by my upcoming European tour in April. But more of this later.

Arranging book launches in countries featured in the books is obviously of great importance and has far-reaching consequences. I have certainly taken this on board, and am already planning a trip to Japan next year to promote the next book which, as you know, has a distinctly Japanese theme. I will tell you all about this in the segment below.
The next book. Book 9 in the Jack Rogan Mysteries Series is on its way!
You will be pleased to hear that excellent progress has been made in both, researching, and writing the next book. Because Jack’s new adventure is set in Japan and involves delving deep into Japanese history and culture, the research has been very challenging.
That said, it has also been most enjoyable and satisfying. Suffice it to say, you are in for a fabulous, nail-biting ride through the the mysterious world of the legendary Samurai,
the powerful Shoguns and their many wars,
Sumo wrestlers,
warrior-monks , the mysterious sohei,
and much, much more.Excited? I hope so!
In my previous newsletter I told you about our upcoming European tour which will take us to many locations showcased previously in the series. This will be an excellent opportunity to revisit such exciting cities as Venice, Florence and Rome, and refresh impressions of these iconic places all of you familiar with the series will associate with certain characters and storylines featured in various books.
And then we have Berchtesgaden, Salzburg, and Vienna …
and in Vienna you will come with me into the awe inspiring crypt of the Habsburgs also featured in various storylines.
As you can see, my friends, we have many exciting things to look forward to in upcoming newsletters.
